Time is Flying

It is October already and after having spent what feels like most of September back in Australia, I feel like I’m running to catch up on things.  At the same time I’m beginning to feel overwhelmed.  This is a regular pattern for me… every couple of months things hit me all at once and I’m still twirling from it.

When I start to feel overwhelmed, I get out my walking shoes, my note pad and my meditation CD’s and no… I don’t use them all at once. LOL!  I put my walking shoes on and get outside, whether it’s a clear or smoggy day… I find walking really helps with the mind chatter because I can look around me, observe the others walking by or the dogs froliking along the esplanade.  My note pad is for writing everything I need to do down and then working out my priorities.  If I keep it in my head I just won’t sleep.  And the meditation CD’s help me to relax.
